Joshua L. Jordan, the founder and CEO of Metro Public Safety, Inc., is a figure synonymous with dedication, experience, and a deep-seated commitment to public safety. His journey, marked by roles as a firefighter, EMT, police officer, and detective, reflects a life devoted to serving and protecting the community. His multifaceted experience in public service has endowed him with a profound understanding of safety and security needs across various contexts.
Josh’s vision for MPS was shaped by his extensive experience in secondary policing in the City of St. Louis. Over eight years of working closely with businesses and communities, he identified a crucial need for specialized security services – services that went beyond the conventional to address the unique and often complex security challenges faced by businesses. This insight led to the birth of MPS, a company founded not just to provide security but to offer peace of mind and reliability.

Timothy McGee | Regional Manager
Timothy McGee, Regional Manager of Metro Public Safety Inc. brings a well-rounded background in public safety, security, and leadership to Metro Public Safety Inc. His career includes fourteen years in the fire service and first response, along with several years of experience in armed security. Throughout his career, Timothy has developed a strong commitment to protecting others, remaining composed in challenging situations, and leading by example.
With more than ten years in management roles, Timothy understands the importance of strong leadership, accountability, and building a dependable team. His experience working in both emergency response and security has given him a practical understanding of safety, situational awareness, and effective decision-making.
Timothy is Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and First Aid trained, holds a PERC card, and has more than seven years of training in Kyusho-Jitsu and Aikido-Jiu-Jitsu defensive techniques.
As a member of Metro Public Safety Inc.’s leadership team, Timothy brings experience, professionalism, and a hands-on approach to supporting our officers and ensuring our clients receive the dependable, high-quality service they expect from MPS.
Temeka Williams | Director of Security at Gateway Regional Medical Center
Temeka L. Williams brings more than twenty years of security experience and a strong background in healthcare security leadership to Metro Public Safety Inc. She currently serves as the Director of Security at Gateway Regional Medical Center, where she plays an integral role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, and staff.
Temeka began her career in security at the age of 21 as an armed security officer, gaining valuable experience across a variety of environments before transitioning into healthcare security. Prior to becoming Director of Security at Gateway Regional Medical Center, she spent ten years serving as Assistant Director, giving her an extensive understanding of the hospital, its security operations, and the unique challenges that come with protecting a healthcare environment.
Throughout her career, Temeka has become known for her hands-on approach to leadership and her commitment to developing a professional, dependable security team. Her experience includes emergency preparedness, staff training and development, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, crisis response, and coordination with hospital leadership, first responders, and law enforcement agencies.
Temeka has completed specialized training through the FEMA Emergency Management Institute, along with training in Hazardous Materials (HazMat), emergency preparedness exercises, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and CCTV operations. She also holds an Illinois PERC card.
A graduate of Cahokia Senior High School, Temeka continued her education at Belleville Area College, where she played women’s basketball. The teamwork, discipline, and leadership that were important to her as an athlete continue to influence the way she leads today.
As a member of Metro Public Safety Inc.’s leadership team, Temeka brings decades of experience, a deep understanding of healthcare security, and a genuine commitment to the people she leads and serves. She takes pride in building strong relationships, supporting her team, and maintaining the level of professionalism and safety expected at Gateway Regional Medical Center and throughout Metro Public Safety Inc.
